Winery Schreibeis convinces with Grüner Veltliner and Pinot Blanc

With its range highlights Grüner Veltliner and Pinot Blanc, the Schreibeis winery – Keller am Gaisberg presents its latest wines at the “ProWein” in Düsseldorf. From 17 to 19 March 2019, Edwin Schreibeis will be taking part in this world’s leading trade fair for wine, the largest meeting place for experts from the catering and retail sectors, with wines from top locations in the Kamptal valley. Among others, the Grüner Veltliner 2017 Ried Straßer Gaisberg, Kamptal DAC Reserve, and the Weissburgunder 2016 Reserve, both already awarded “Gold” by the Berlin Wine Trophy, will be presented to the international trade public for the first time.

Never before has the world been so strongly influenced by trends and fashions as it is today. In addition to the many current trends, the focus will once again be on proven, established and traditional products. The young winemaker Edwin Schreibeis is committed to sustainable viticulture in order to be able to produce the best quality wines from healthy grapes and balanced soils: “Each wine is given sufficient time for its optimum development. In addition to Grüner Veltliner, the winegrower Edwin Schreibeis is particularly interested in Pinot Blanc, which makes a very varied vilification possible. In my case, the spectrum of Pinot Blanc ranges from classic, strong, barrique and natural wine to sweet Prädikatswein.”

Edwin Schreibeis invites you to the next wine presentations in his “Keller am Gaisberg” in the Straßer Gaisberg-Kellergasse. At the “Kamptaler Weinfrühling” on 27 and 28 April 2019 and at the “Tag der offenen Kellertür” on 4 and 5 May 2019, wines of the new vintage 2018 and the reserve wines of the vintage 2017 can be tasted. The Schreibeis Winery is a family winery in the well-known wine village of Straß im Straßertale in Lower Austria’s Kamptal wine region. 14 hectares of vineyards are cultivated in the top locations of Straßer Gaisberg, Offenberg and Hasel.
